Thilanka graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka, then moved to New Zealand in 2013.

Since then, Thilanka has worked in a wide range of hospital specialities and became a GP fellow in 2022.

Thilanka covers all aspects of general practice with a particular interest in women's health. She enjoys working with women because she understands how important it is for them to feel heard, respected, and cared for by their doctors

In her free time, Thilanka enjoys traveling abroad, watching movies, and baking treats for friends and family.

As a female doctor, it's important to me that other women are able to receive treatment from someone who understands their unique needs and experiences.
