Emma Brunette-Lawrey has been an Emergency Physician at Auckland City Hospital since 2015 and has post graduate qualifications in clinical education, paediatrics and toxicology. She also holds roles as the clinical director for the New Zealand Medical Assistance Team (disaster response team) and as the Head of Foundation for MAS Foundation, a philanthropic health funder with a focus on health equity. She spent 18 months 2018-2020 as consultant for WHO working with Ministries of Health and NGOs globally to support the development of disaster response mechanisms, deployment teams and field hospitals.
