Dr Lee Mathias ONZM

Lee Mathias is a Director at Tend.

Over the course of her career, Lee has made significant contributions to New Zealand healthcare, including founding Birthcare, NZ's first primary maternity facilities, contracted to the public healthcare system.

Lee is also a Director of high tech diagnostics company Pictor and co-founded Labtests. She is currently the Chair of Medicines NZ and has also been the Chair of Counties Manukau DHB, the Health Promotion Agency and Unitec.

Lee has also been Deputy Chair of the Auckland District Health Board (up until late 2019) and a board member of Health Alliance NZ.

Awards and recognition include:

• 2013 Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit
