Booking a Pre-Departure Test at Tend
Book your in-clinic appointment via the Tend app. Please make sure that your appointment is within your airlines time requirements and that you leave enough time for it to be processed by Lab Tests.
In your presenting complaint, please state your flight details: where you are travelling to, as well as your flight date and time.
Prior to an in-clinic appointment, you will be contacted by one of our team who will run through some COVID-19 screening questions. All patients will be asked to remain in their vehicle or on foot in our car park. Once you have arrived, please check in on the app or give us a call on 0800 HEY TEND (439 8363) and your Nurse/Doctor will come out to you.
After your appointment, your PCR test will be collected by Lab Tests at either 12pm or 5pm that day.
Lab Test results are typically processed within 24 hours - however, there may be delays depending on how busy they are!
Once your PCR test has been processed, one of our Nurses will send you an electronic copy of your results via the Tend app.
You will need to bring this electronic copy to the airport!
