How do I pay for my Tend appointment?

When you book your first appointment or enrol, you will be asked to enter card details - we accept credit and debit card. An authentication amount of $1 will then be applied to validate your card, and will be reimbursed once your card is confirmed.

The Tend app uses bank-grade security and all your payment details are encrypted.

When booking an appointment, Tend will validate the payment method by placing a temporary "hold of funds" for the cost of the selected appointment which will then be released.  This method ensures the payment method is valid and reliable. The return of funds is controlled by each individual's bank, and if not available immediately, should take no longer than 3 days to be released.

We don't charge you until after your appointment, so if you are entitled to any kind of discount (e.g. you have a Community Services Card) or fee waiver, you can discuss this with your care team during your appointment. Your card will then be charged at the end of your Tend consultation.

If you do have a Community Services Card (CSC), please take a photo of the front and back of your card and send it to customer experience via the Tend app so we can enter your details into our system and ensure you are charged correctly.
