Yes, you don't have to change your doctor to use Tend.
If you book a ‘casual patient’ appointment, you will remain enrolled with your existing GP. You can enrol with Tend as your primary GP in the future if you wish.
The first time you book, you’ll be asked to provide the details we need to meet Ministry of Health regulations for casual patient bookings.
With your consent, we can send the details of your appointment to your regular GP if you wish - but we won't if you want to keep this confidential.
If you enrol with Tend as your primary GP, you will get the benefits of lower fees and free appointments for children under 14.
