Colleen is a graduate from University of Massachusetts in Boston USA, where she qualified as a as a Registered Nurse. With a special interest in acute care, Colleen has spent time across the United States working in this field, before settling in Salem, Massachusetts, where she spent 10 years working in cardiology.

With a passion for learning, Colleen's studies next took her to Northeastern University, where she gained her Masters in Nursing (Adult Nurse Practitioner Programme) focused on cardiology. Finally settling in Aotearoa in 2013 with her husband and two children, Colleen has spent a number of years at Waikato Hospital, before going on to study for her prescribing certification at Anglesea Urgent Care for 2 years.

Colleen is passionate about her family, travelling, food, culture and loves the outdoors.
