Dr Nigel Tay joins the Tend team after gaining experience as a GP in his home country, Singapore.  Nigel gained his medical degree at the National University of Singapore before moving to Aotearoa in 2017.  He has since completed his Fellowship in Urgent Care and also holds a Diploma in Sports Medicine from the International Olympic Council.  Nigel also has a special interest in skin lesions and minor surgery.

An ex-national waterpolo player for Singapore, Nigel competes in the NZ national league and spends most of his free time at the pool and gym.  He hopes to continue his medical education in interventional procedures in musculoskeletal and sports medicine while still finding time to explore Aotearoa’s great walks and beaches.
