Hailing from London’s East End and going on to attend the Royal London Medical School in Whitechapel, Dr Pragati Gautama brings a wealth of experience to the Tend team.

Dr Pragati has a passion for healthcare equity and has dedicated much of her career to practicing medicine in rural New Zealand environments.  She has previously spent time in Papua New Guinea providing medical care after a series of natural disasters, and worked on the medical team at Latimer Square for 24 hours after the Christchurch earthquakes in 2011.

A lover of the great outdoors, Dr Gautama has lived in Central Otago for the last two decades, where she has become a involved in the local community, now bringing her extensive knowledge and experience to Tend, provinding care through online appointments.
