Nagdeep Kaur

Nagdeep, our clinical nurse leader at Tend Pakuranga Medical Centre is passionate about having a shared vision, supporting her team, and providing high-quality patient care. She strives to provide a healthy environment for her nurses so they can learn, grow, and thrive.

Nagdeep was a registered midwife and nurse in India before immigrating to New Zealand and working in primary and secondary healthcare for over 10 years. 

She is passionate about mental health and cardiology. Growing up in India, she felt that mental health was often neglected and everyone was so focussed about physical conditions when often at times the root cause is mental health related. She believes that you cannot treat any person, even in long term conditions if you are not looking after their mental health as well.

Nagdeep is also a mother of two girls who loves spending time with them, reading, and dancing in her spare time.
