Olivia (she/her) is a nurse at Tend Pakuranga who brings diverse experience from both hospital and primary care settings. As a certified HPV swab taker and authorised independent vaccinator, she has developed expertise across various healthcare environments, including providing outreach services for childhood immunisations.

Her passion lies in youth and paediatric health, drawing from her experience in NICU to support and educate whānau about immunisations. She takes particular satisfaction in empowering new parents with the knowledge and skills needed for newborn care. Olivia’s expertise extends to acute illness management, maternity support, and sexual health services, including cervical screening.

Olivia values the opportunity to provide continuous, comprehensive care while building trusting relationships with patients and their whānau. She focuses on enhancing health literacy and delivering patient-centred care that considers the whole family’s needs.

Outside of nursing, Olivia enjoys an active lifestyle, taking her dog Daisy on nature walks and attending group fitness classes. She unwinds by listening to audiobooks, experimenting with new cuisines, and tending to her garden.

I love the diversity and variety of care working in primary health, and being able to provide continuity of care to our patients, being able to empower and support them and their whanau and get to know them as people.
