How much does Tend cost?
The price you pay depends on whether you are enrolled with us, or visiting us as a casual patient.

Enrolled patients enjoy cheaper fees and access to funded medical services. There are also discounts available for children, youth and those with Community Services Cards (CSC).

Our mental health service is free for everyone (casual and enrolled) over 16 years.

See here for a list of enrolled and casual patient fees.
Why enrol with Tend?
When you enrol with Tend, our doctors and nurses become your main healthcare team. This means we can support you over time, keep track of your health, and make it easier to get ongoing care when you need it.

If you have long-term health conditions or need regular prescriptions, enrolling can make things simpler. We can help manage your care and renew prescriptions when appropriate.

Benefits of enrolling:
- Lower fees for adults and youths
- Discounts for Community Service Card holders
- FREE appointments for children under 14
- Order repeat prescriptions in under 30-seconds in the app
- See all your notes and test results in the app

Enrolling is free only takes 5 minutes via the app and we take care of all the paperwork for you! You can only enrol if we have a clinic near your residential address.

To get started, you’ll need a smartphone, a New Zealand phone number, email address, and a debit or credit card. You’ll also need ID (such as a passport or driver’s licence) to verify your identity.
