Doctors
A doctor who is trained in general practice medicine. Registered with the Medical Council of NZ.
Nurse practitioners
A highly skilled registered nurse with a master's degree. NP's can prescribe medicines, make diagnoses, order and interpret test results. Registered with the Nursing Council of NZ.
Nurse Prescribers
Nurse prescribers have gone through advanced training that allows them to prescribe certain medications and treatments. They work with our GPs and wider care team to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
Nurses
Responsible for clinical care and support online and in-clinic. Also delivers many medical services. Registered with the Nursing Council of NZ.
Pharmacists
A Practice Pharmacist manages complex medication plans, reviews patients, and provides education to ensure safe medicine use. A Pharmacist Prescriber has advanced training to prescribe, review medications, and order tests, working with the wider care team to optimise treatment. Both are registered with the Pharmacy Council of NZ.
Health Improvement Practitioners
A HIP works with you to improve your overall wellbeing by providing support and follow-up for any physical, spiritual, social, or mental issues or concerns. Their services are free, you can self refer or book yourself in the app under ‘Services.

A Health Coach works with you to offer clear guidance and inspirational support, their role is to accompany you on your journey toward long-term, sustainable behaviour change. Their services are free, you can self refer or book yourself in the app under ‘Services.
