Kirsty began her nursing journey in Dunedin, where she completed her training in 1994. A lot of her career has been in critical care but also rural health both here and overseas.

On return to NZ she pursued further education, culminating in her Master of Nursing (Clinical) from Massey University. This enabled her to become a Nurse Practitioner, a role that involves assessing patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, developing treatment plans, and referring patients to specialized services.

Kirsty has a strong passion for women's and children's health. She is skilled in various specialised procedures, including IUD insertion and removal, pipelle biopsies and ring pessaries.

She can also offer 6-week baby checks and administer vaccinations during the same visit.

In her personal life, Kirsty leads an active lifestyle, keeping fit and mountain biking.

I have a strong passion for women's and children's health.
