Ciaran (pronounced Keer-an) draws on his diverse experience working as a hospital doctor in New Zealand. He chose to practice as a GP so that he could spend more time treating ‘people’ rather than ‘problems’. He loves helping patients focus on preventing and treating disease through a healthy lifestyle rather than taking unnecessary medicines.

Ciaran has a number of special interests. He is certified in ‘Dermatoscopy’ via the Skin Cancer College of Australia, being able to assess and remove concerning skin lesions (as required). Another area of interest includes men’s health - screening for prostate cancer and prevention of cardiovascular disease. Having previously trained as an Osteopath, Ciaran also has a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries and he is endorsed by ACC to request MRI’s for certain injuries.‍

Outside of work, Ciaran enjoys yoga, outdoor activities and spending quality time with his family.

I am passionate about working with people to understand their health needs and explore the very best health pathways that fit with their lifestyle, so we can move towards the best health outcomes together with ease and comfort.
