Doris is a Health Coach at Tend Linwood Medical Centre, originally from Switzerland. She works as part of the Te Tumu Waiora model of mental health care in primary care. Her service is free for all enrolled patients at Tend Linwood aged 18 and over.

Doris supports people in making health-related lifestyle changes, helping them set and achieve physical or mental wellbeing goals. She offers guidance, motivation, and science-based advice on overcoming barriers to better health.

She assists with new diagnoses, chronic conditions, or concerns like heart health, diabetes, obesity, chronic pain, stress, sleep issues, anxiety, depression, addiction, and more. People also see her to improve their overall lifestyle, from increasing activity to eating healthier.

Patients can book to see Doris by contacting their care team at Tend. Phone or virtual consultations are also an option.

In her free time, Doris enjoys tramping, exploring Christchurch on foot or by bike, cooking nutritious meals, and spending time with her partner and two daughters.

Helping people make meaningful lifestyle changes is my passion. Whether it’s guiding someone through a new diagnosis, or supporting them with mental wellbeing goals, I’m here to offer motivation, science-based advice, and practical tools for better health.
