David brings a rich background in medicine, having completed his studies at the University of Otago and clinical training at Christchurch Hospital, including specialised emergency medicine experience in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. After completing his House Officer years at Gisborne Hospital, he achieved his GP Fellowship in Hawke's Bay.
He takes pride in offering comprehensive care across a broad spectrum of health needs. He holds particular expertise in skin cancer detection, with a certificate in dermatoscopy – especially valuable given New Zealand's high UV exposure.
His dedication to mental healthcare is demonstrated through his certificate in Primary Care Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, enabling him to provide high-quality support for patients managing anxiety and depression.
