Rick Tan

Rick is a clinical pharmacist and currently training to be a pharmacist prescriber. He grew up in Christchurch, did his training in Otago, and has worked across the North and South Island as a community pharmacist and tertiary education tutor.

Rick provides ongoing medicine reviews, therapy assessments and education to anyone on medications. He also works closely with our doctors and nurses on medicine related quality improvements. Medicine therapy assessments are particularly useful for people who may be taking multiple medicines.

Rick is able to carry out repeat prescription consults, travel consults and medicine reviews.

In his spare time Rick enjoys snowboarding, kayaking, surfing and spending time with his wife and dog.
