Millie is originally from the UK and holds a Bachelor of Nursing with honours from the University of Birmingham. She has trained and worked in the UK for the past five years, gaining experience across a variety of specialties, including acute medicine, major trauma and orthopaedics, cancer care, and palliative and end-of-life care. Millie has recently moved to New Zealand and is excited to bring her skills to primary care and engage with the local health system.

Millie has a special interest in health promotion, sexual health, and women’s health. She is also passionate about supporting patients and their families during palliative care. Her focus on health promotion allows her to empower and support patients in understanding their health and well-being.

As a nurse, Millie enjoys building therapeutic relationships with patients, making a difference in their lives, and supporting them in understanding their health conditions to make positive changes.

In her spare time, Millie is a big foodie who loves to cook. She enjoys being in the great outdoors, whether it’s tramping, walking, or exploring, and values spending quality time with family and friends.

I enjoy having the ability to make a difference in people’s lives, building therapeutic relationships with patients and getting to know them and their families.
