Rhona started on her nursing career after completing her Bachelor of Nursing at Massey University, Wellington in 2016. Drawn to general practice, she pursued a position as a practice nurse, further enhancing her skills with a post-graduate diploma in 2019.

Rhona has a special interest in women’s health and diabetes. She enjoys helping them manage their diabetes and is a dedicated advocate for preventive care in women’s health as a registered cervical screen taker. Her clinical work is driven by the opportunity to interact with a variety of patients and assist them in making informed health decisions.

Outside of her professional life, Rhona loves spending time with family and friends, and relishes being outdoors—whether it’s tramping in the hills or unwinding at the beach.

I like the variety of people that I meet everyday and I also like helping patients to better understand their health conditions so that they can make informed health decisions.
