Jane (she/her) joins Tend Tauranga with 8 years of experience from Tauranga Hospital’s surgical ward, where she specialised in women’s health. She has developed particular expertise in medical-surgical nursing and women’s health nursing. Jane is passionate about creating seamless connections between primary and hospital-based care, ensuring patients receive consistent support throughout their surgical journeys.

Her experience has honed her skills in patient assessment, medication management, and patient education, particularly in post-operative care and chronic condition management.

Jane values building meaningful relationships with patients and their whānau, taking a holistic approach to healthcare that emphasises prevention, education, and comprehensive management of both acute and chronic conditions. She is fluent in both English and Thai.

Outside of nursing, Jane maintains an active lifestyle through outdoor activities and walks in nature. She enjoys cooking, experimenting with new recipes, and sharing meals with family and friends. She remains committed to continuous learning, particularly in health and wellness topics.

I genuinely enjoy building strong, meaningful relationships with patients and their whānau as a clinician. Being in a GP practice allows me to provide holistic, ongoing care that focuses on the prevention, education, and management of both acute and chronic health conditions.
