Marshall was born and raised in Tauranga and has worked as a GP in Greerton since 1992, having graduated from Auckland Medical School four years earlier. He is a fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and also holds a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation from the University of Otago. His professional interests include injury rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury and pain management.

Skin cancer is another area of Marshall’s expertise, and he holds a post-graduate Diploma in Skin Cancer Surgery from the University of Queensland. Marshall is credentialed by the Western Bay of Plenty PHO to perform skin cancer surgery to an advanced level and conducts skin cancer surgery at Tend’s purpose-built day surgery theatre in Greerton.

Marshall is passionate about general practice and enjoys the strong relationships built with patients over time. He also has a particular interest in information technology. He enjoys the outdoor lifestyle of the Bay of Plenty. To keep active and fit, Marshall  has competed nationally in sprint and marathon kayaking.

Marshall works Monday to Friday at Greerton.

My passion lies in injury rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, and pain management, complemented by my expertise in skin cancer surgery.
