Dr Hamid (he/him) is a GP at Tend Kingsland and Tend Symonds Street who graduated from the University of Auckland in 2018. After graduation, he gained experience working across several hospitals in the Auckland region, including Auckland Hospital, Middlemore Hospital, and Waitakere Hospital, where he served as a medical registrar in various subspecialties. In 2022, he transitioned from hospital medicine to working in urgent care and general practice.

While his primary interest lies in general medicine, Hamid has expressed enthusiasm for all aspects of primary care. He finds satisfaction in working with a diverse patient population, focusing on improving their health outcomes and quality of life. Hamid is happy to consult in both English and Arabic.

His commitment to healthcare is balanced with an active personal life that includes several hobbies. Outside of his medical practice, Hamid maintains an active lifestyle through football and running, enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, and pursues creative and exploratory interests through art and travel.

I enjoy working with people from all types of backgrounds to help improve their health and quality of life.
