Maddison is a registered nurse and began her nursing career in a general medicine ward. This provided her with foundational experiences that laid the groundwork for her skills in patient care. Maddison then transitioned to the emergency department (ED), where she honed her skills for three years across both Middlemore and Christchurch hospitals before joining the team at Tend Ashburton.

Maddison is passionate about nursing because it gives her the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives. She values the connections and strong relationships she builds with patients and their families, striving to break down barriers to healthcare access in New Zealand.

Maddison is driven by the desire to provide the best care possible and takes pride in her contributions to her patients' health.

When she's not working, Maddison is an avid outdoor enthusiast. You'll often find her on her mountain bike in Wanaka or running up in the hills, embracing the beauty and challenge of the great outdoors.

I like making a difference in people's lives. It is important to me to gain a connection and build strong relationships with the patients and families. I want to help break down any barriers to allow everyone to access good healthcare in NZ. I want the best for our patients and to be proud of the work I do.
