Rose is a Malaysian-born Chinese GP who is fluent in four different languages – Cantonese, Mandarin, Malay and English.

Her strong desire to help other people led her to study medicine in Melbourne. After graduating in 1994, she married her classmate and the couple immigrated to New Zealand after completing their medical internships in Australia.

Rose gave birth to her first daughter while studying towards her Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is now a mother of two, and has been working as a GP since 1998. She is a compassionate, approachable GP who has a particular interest in preventative health, women’s health and children’s wellbeing. Rose works closely alongside other health professionals to ensure her patients receive specialist care when required.

Outside of work, Rose enjoys reading, tennis and travelling in her spare time.

With a focus on preventative health, women's health, and children's wellbeing, I strive to provide compassionate care to my patients.
