Dr. Mark Conrad

Dr. Mark is one of Tend’s online GPs. After earning his Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, Mark embarked on a journey in health care as an EMT-Paramedic in Lansing, Michigan where he found his passion for medicine and helping others. This led him to become a board-certified Family Medicine Physician and a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.

Specialising in telemedicine, acute infections, and men’s health, Mark is committed to accessible, high-level medical care. He is particularly enthusiastic about telehealth’s ability to connect with patients remotely, ensuring they receive the necessary care to continue enjoying their lives.

Mark approaches his work with science and evidence-based medicine, aiming to collaborate with patients to provide the level of healthcare he would want for his own family and friends.Outside of work, he loves any opportunity to immerse himself in the natural beauty of Aotearoa with his family and dogs. Whether it’s exploring the bush, enjoying sunsets on the beach, or enjoying a cuppa in the city.
