Meet Nicky, our Head of Nursing at Tend. With close to a decade of experience in Community-Based Nursing, she brings invaluable expertise, deep knowledge, and a genuine passion for patient care to our team.

After graduating from the University of Auckland, Nicky has gone on to pursue further study, earning a PGDip in Advanced Nursing - and is now working towards her Master’s degree. This commitment to lifelong learning ensures she stays at the forefront of best practices, delivering high-quality care to our patients.

As our Head of Nursing, Nicky plays a vital role in shaping our healthcare services to be inclusive, accessible, and patient-centred. With her leadership and expertise, we’re able to provide a personalised and empowering healthcare experience that puts individuals and their wellbeing first.

Outside of work, Nicky enjoys unwinding with her playful puppy, Cooper, and escaping into nature for camping trips with friends.

My love for community nursing comes from having the opportunity to form trusted relationships with individuals and families, to walk alongside them in their health journey - supporting them to get well and stay well both physically and mentally.
