Joel brings extensive healthcare experience to Tend Ashburton, having trained at both Fiji National University and the University of New South Wales. He is currently pursuing qualifications in nurse prescribing to further enhance his clinical capabilities.

His diverse nursing background spans medical, psychiatric, and aged care, including roles as a COVID department team leader at Lautoka Hospital and an aviation nurse for Fiji Airways. This experience has shaped his passion for practice nursing and community health, with a focus on preventative care.

Joel is trilingual in English, Hindi, and Fijian, enabling him to connect with patients from various cultural backgrounds.

In his spare time he likes to play soccer and indulge in a bit of gaming.
