Dr Dennis (he/him) joins Tend Papamoa with extensive international medical expertise. Originally trained in Germany as both a specialist in human genetics and general practice, he holds additional postgraduate qualifications in palliative care and a Master in Health Business Administration.

His approach to medicine emphasises holistic, patient-centred care, integrating various specialised areas including palliative care, nutritional medicine, lifestyle medicine, psychosomatic interventions, and ultrasound diagnostics. Dennis believes in actively involving patients in their treatment plans, particularly when implementing lifestyle changes to improve health outcomes. He is fluent in German, English, Spanish, French, and Italian.

With experience in caring for patients of all ages, he takes particular satisfaction in witnessing his patients’ progress in both their health and personal lives. His commitment to community health extends beyond the clinic – Dennis serves as an active volunteer with the Tauranga Coastguard as part of their wet crew on the Rescue Vessel.

When not practicing medicine, Dennis spends quality time with his wife and kids while maintaining an active lifestyle through running, swimming, and biking.

I love to provide the best care to every patient and I always involve the patient into their medical treatment, including lifestyle changes if needed.
