Enrolled patients
Enrolment is currently available to residents in Auckland, Tauranga and Christchurch. An enrolled patient is someone who has chosen Tend as their primary care provider.
Tsitsi (pronounced Sit-see) is a qualified Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP) and a registered mental health social worker. She has experience working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), in addition to working as a school social worker.
Tsitsi holds a solid educational foundation which equips her to navigate the complexities of this role. This includes qualifications in social work, psychology, education, counselling and a Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions. She has also undertaken further professional development and utilises therapies such as Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (FACT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
She is passionate about empowering people and supporting them on their wellbeing journey and utilises her vast experience working overseas and locally in various roles as a counsellor, teacher and social worker. Her role as a HIP at Tend Pakuranga is to help people when stress and problems in life begin to affect wellbeing, and she can see people of all ages for a wide range of presentations. Working full time in the clinic from Monday to Friday.
Originally from Zimbabwe, Tsitsi has lived and worked in Malaysia for almost a decade before migrating to New Zealand over 10 years ago. She lives in East Auckland with her husband and 2 children, and loves being part of this community. Outside her professional life, Tsitsi enjoys spending time with family, connecting with nature by going for walks, going to the gym, reading or listening to music, podcasts and audiobooks.
