Dr Graham Denyer

Chief Medical Officer
In addition to providing patient care as one of our Tend GPs, as Chief Medical Officer, Graham provides operational leadership to our clinical team - responsible for people, clinical standards and safety, and quality improvement.

Graham has extensive experience in both clinical medicine and leadership across multidisciplinary environments including in hospital, commercial and community settings. He was previously Chief Medical Officer for First Assistance, an international medical assistance company providing telemedicine, logistic and aeromedical support to the Australasian travel market. He has also been Medical Officer with the Australian Antarctic program including several expeditions to Antarctica. He is an experienced clinical educator having been Course Director for the University of Otago postgraduate Aeromedical Retrieval program until the end of 2020.

Graham is also a member of the New Zealand Medical Assistance Team, the NZ Government capability that is deployed to support local health services in the event of a major emergency within New Zealand or the south-west Pacific.
