Charlotte is a nurse at Tend Hagley Park with a background in community mental health nursing. She began her career in the North Island through the NESP programme and completed her postgraduate certificate in Mental Health and Addictions. Since moving into general practice in 2024, she has enjoyed combining her mental health expertise with practical nursing care.

Charlotte has a special interest in neurodiversity and wound care. Neurodiversity is important to her both personally and professionally, and she’s passionate about helping patients navigate the often confusing and outdated information they may encounter. She believes clinicians play a key role in offering accurate, high-quality guidance to support well-informed health decisions.

In her spare time, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their cat, exploring Christchurch, caring for her garden and sewing.

Neurodiversity is something that is important to me in both my personal and professional life. There is a lot of misinformation out there from out of date studies and long term misconceptions but also on social media. It's important as clinicians that we are a source of current and high quality information for our tangata whaiora.
