Dr. Ferdinand Hager

Dr. Ferdinand (he/him) graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Otago in 2019. Following this, he dedicated three years as a house officer across various specialties at Christchurch Hospital before advancing to a 1.5-year tenure as a general surgery registrar at the same hospital, nurturing a keen interest in surgical care.
Ferdinand prides himself on his problem-solving skills and the joy of working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
A keen NZ sports fan, he enjoys jogging, tramping and spending quality time with his wife and children during downtime.
He is fluent in both English and German.
