Sue Woods is a health improvement practitioner with a career spanning over 25 years across New Zealand and Australia. She holds a Diploma in Alcohol & Drug Studies Health Science and a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science. She is also a registered practitioner and supervisor with DAPAANZ, showcasing her commitment to the highest standards of professional practice in addiction and mental health.

With an extensive background in both clinical and management roles in addiction services, Sue has harnessed her experience to drive change and foster recovery in individuals facing addiction challenges.  

Having experienced addiction herself, she stands as a testament to the possibility of recovery and having a life worth living. For Sue, witnessing the transformative power of positive change in her patient's lives is an amazing reward.

Outside her professional life, Sue enjoys a plethora of activities that keep her busy such as gardening, baking goodies like sourdough, Zumba, yoga, pilates, reading, music, and cycling.

I have a personal experience of addiction and know it is possible to have a life worth living, it's something that we all deserve.
