Yune (pronounced "Yoon") is a Nurse Practitioner at Tend Hagley Park, originally from the United States. She graduated from New York University in 2001 with a Master’s in Advanced Practice Nursing and has worked across a range of healthcare settings, including oncology, emergency care and primary care.

Yune has a special interest in paediatrics and a sub-specialty in caring for children with special needs. She enjoys supporting people at all stages of life and finds it rewarding to help patients feel better and stay well.

She speaks English and some Spanish, and has also contributed to postgraduate nursing education in New Zealand as a lecturer and academic mentor.

Outside of work, Yune enjoys travelling, exploring great food and wine and spending time with her family. She and her whānau moved to Christchurch in 2018 and are actively involved in the local ice hockey community.

I see patients of all ages but have a specialty in paediatrics & a sub-specialty in children with special needs.
