Dr. Mogens is a seasoned medical professional whose foundational training began with a Bachelor of Medicine from the Medical University of Luebeck, Germany, in 1986. He amassed a breadth of expertise during his time working within both the New Zealand and German healthcare systems and subsequently established three successful practices in rural New Zealand.

For over two decades, Mogens has made significant contributions to medicine, including a year of service with the Flying Doctor in Western Australia and ongoing full-time locum work in rural communities. With a philosophy rooted in a holistic approach to healthcare, he focuses on the comprehensive well-being of each patient, taking pride in his ability to impact their lives positively.

Beyond his clinical work, Mogens loves the outdoors and various activities such as watersports, tennis, and cycling. Additionally, he is fluent in English, German, French, and Spanish, and is currently embracing Te Reo Maori as a beginner.

I have a holistic approach to medicine and try to see the whole body and the whole person, with my broad range of experience I believe I can make a difference to my patients' health.
