Dr. Geoff Richards

After completing Medical School and GP Specialty training, Geoff spent 18 years as a partner in Melbourne's largest General Practice.

After that, Geoff seized an opportunity when it arose and uprooted his wife and his two boys to travel around the world. They headed west, and just kept on going for 6 months until they reached Aotearoa in 2012.

Geoff has enjoyed working in various GPs, and other medical facilities since then. One interesting job has been Team Leader in Auckland's Covid Response Unit from the start of the Pandemic.

When not doctoring, Geoff loves things that move fast: cycling, kitesurfing and running, as well as cars and boats.
