Jessica is an exceptional member of our Tend nursing team, bringing in-depth experience and a commitment to delivering top-notch care to our patients.

After graduating with a nursing degree from the  University of Auckland, she embarked on her career journey at an Urgent Care center as a new graduate. It was during this time that Jessica discovered her true passion and developed expertise in a range of specialised areas, including fracture management, urgent care, chronic care, and pediatrics.

Driven by her desire to continuously learn and enhance her practice, Jessica completed her PgCert in advanced nursing practice while working at the Urgent Care center.

What sets Jessica apart is her ability to form deep connections with her patients in the diverse and ever-changing healthcare landscape. She approaches each case with utmost attention and empathy, carefully tailoring her approach to address the unique needs of each individual.

Outside of work, Jessica finds solace in her furry companions, spending quality time with her beloved cats and dogs. She understands the importance of maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle and loves exploring new avenues to learn and grow, as well as indulging in some well-deserved relaxation by enjoying Netflix shows.

I love working as a nurse because I'm able to be there to stand beside someone through their best and worst times and be able to watch them go through their health journey.
