Dr. Vaughan is a highly experienced clinician with a passion for helping his patients live their best lives.

He trained in Dunedin and completed his training in Wellington. From 2004 through 2018, Dr. Vaughan worked at Auckland Hospital, holding senior roles in adult General Medicine. Since 2018, he has been working full-time as a GP, with special interests in dermatology, general medicine (internal medicine), mental health, diabetes, older people's health, men's health, and sexual health.

Dr. Vaughan loves the variety of general medicine and is driven by the challenges that come with it. He takes immense pleasure in helping his patients, particularly with mental health challenges and supporting them in making decisions regarding treatment options that work best for them.

In his daily life, Dr. Vaughan resides on a rural property with animals and land to look after. He enjoys spending time with his family, running, swimming, making music and traveling. He also knows how to play the piano and has a cat named Frank.

I love the privilege that patients give me every day of learning about their life and helping them make informed decisions in a non judgmental way. I love to learn - and practicing medicine makes every day interesting as I am constantly learning.
