Casual patients remain registered with another GP and visit Tend on an as-needed basis. Because they are not enrolled, their appointments are not subsidised by government funding, resulting in higher consultation fees. Typical casual fees are $79.95
Enrolled patients benefit from lower fees because their GP receives government capitation funding, which helps offset the cost of their care.

Community Services Card
A Community Services Card (CSC) in New Zealand helps people on lower incomes pay less for healthcare and prescriptions. You must be enrolled with a GP to access Community Service Card holder pricing.
